Privacy policy

Who we are

Pannonia Esports is an esports club based in Budapest, Hungary. We are responsible for the personal data collected on this website. You can reach us at media@pannoniaesports.com.

What we collect

• Tryout applications: your in-game name, email address, game, role, rank, country, the links you add and your message.
• Contact form: your name, email address, company (if you give one) and your message.
• For both: the time you sent the form and the fact that you accepted this policy.

Why we use it

We use application details only to assess your tryout and to contact you about it. We use contact messages only to reply to you and handle your request. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

Who can see it

Only Pannonia Esports staff who run tryouts or handle partner and media requests. A short summary of new applications and messages may be posted to a private staff channel on Discord so we can respond quickly. Our email is handled by Zoho Mail. The website and its database run on a server we rent and manage ourselves. Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website, processes technical connection data such as IP addresses.

How long we keep it

Tryout applications are deleted automatically 12 months after they are sent, contact messages after 24 months. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Spam protection

To stop spam, we limit how many forms can be sent from one internet connection. For this we store a one-way coded version (hash) of your IP address, never the address itself.

Cookies and statistics

We don't set any cookies for visitors. We count page visits without cookies: each visitor is counted once a day with a code made from a random key that changes every day, so we can't recognise you or follow you between days or across websites. Your light or dark theme choice is saved only in your own browser. Staff who sign in to the admin area get one cookie that keeps them signed in.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or to stop using it. Email media@pannoniaesports.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you think we've handled your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, naih.hu).

Age

You must be at least 16 years old to apply for a tryout.
